Our Approach to the PPWR Regulation (EU 2025/40)
ZPS – FRÉZOVACÍ NÁSTROJE a.s. has long been committed to a responsible approach to packaging and continuously adapts its processes to the requirements of the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
When selecting and using packaging, we emphasize:
- minimizing the amount of packaging material while ensuring the safe protection of products during storage and transport,
- prioritizing materials suitable for recycling, particularly paper, cardboard, and suitable plastic materials,
- monitoring requirements for the chemical composition of packaging and limiting the use of substances that could violate applicable laws or complicate recycling,
- collaborating with packaging suppliers and continuously gathering information on material composition, recyclability, and compliance with legislative requirements,
- continuously updating internal procedures in response to further developments in European legislation and technical requirements.
Documentation and Verification
We continuously collect available technical and supplier documentation regarding the packaging we use, including material specifications, supplier declarations, and information necessary to assess recyclability and compliance with PPWR requirements.
Our Commitment
Our goal is to ensure that the packaging we use meets current environmental protection requirements, supports the principles of the circular economy, and at the same time provides the necessary protection for our products throughout the entire logistics process.
